The error appears after installation of PSA2.6.3 Hotfix01.The reason is that SPSProviderClientBase.tlb was updated on WSS front, but was not updated on MPS computer.
Resolution
Copy SPSProviderClientBase.tlb from WSS Front-end to MPS Engine server:
- Go to on MPS computer, in folder where MPFCustomProviders is installed. Usually, it is: C:\Program Files\SWsoft\PEM\MPF Providers.
- Rename SPSProviderClientBase.tlb file to SPSProviderClientBase.tlb.bak.
- Go to WSS Front-end computer to the folder where MPFProviderClients is installed. Usually, it is: C:\Program Files\SWsoft\PEM\MPF Provider Clients.
- Copy file SPSProviderClientBase.tlb on MPS computer, to the folder where MPFCustomProviders is installed.
