[FIX] Plesk Backup fails to upload backup on FTP

Symptoms

Backup process with Plesk Backup utility goes well but hangs on the step of uploading backup to ftp server.

Cause

Application Layer Gateway Service is running on the server. This service could cause interruption of  ftp connection.

Resolution

Go to Start, Programs, Administrative tools, Services and stop Application Layer Gateway Service.
