RESOLUTION
Clustering of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 cluster-aware applications in many configurations is possible. Create a “CT—to--CT“ cluster, or configure a dedicated server as an active node and use a CT as a passive member of a cluster. Using containers as redundant cluster nodes and storing them on a single Virtuozzo server with high density enables support of several Application Clusters by introducing a single redundant physical server with Virtuozzo.1. Configure support for Windows cluster on a CT you want to be in a cluster - using either Virtuozzo Management Console :
- Go to PMC, Virtuozzo Virtual Environments
- Right-click on a CT you would like to join to a cluster.
- In Tasks choose Configure Support for Windows cluster
or use the following command:
vzctl set VEID --failover_cluster yes –save vzctl restart VEID 2. Forward iSCSI disk (shared SCSI, fiber channel, etc.) to the CT.
3. Login to the CT via Remote Desktop and create/add the server to a cluster using the standard Microsoft Cluster administrator. (Start, Administrative tools, Cluster Administrator)
