SYMPTOMS

When I try p2v my physical server I receive the following error:

VZAgent Error 425. Distribute agent to 192.168.252.58 failed : connection : [1203] No network provider accepted the given network path.

I cannot to connect by smb to physical server from Virtuozzo node.

CAUSE

Likely the reason of the problem is that SMB admin share is closed on physical server and swagent required for p2v migration cannot be delivered to physical server.

The second reason could be that Client for Microsoft Network is not installed or does not work properly on the node.

RESOLUTION

1. Enable admin share ( C$) on the physical server by changing “AutoShareServ” value to “1” under the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameters

2. Restart Server service



3. Enable and start Remote registry service

On Virtuozzo node: please make sure that Client for Microsoft Netwrok is installed and works properly. If not, try to reinstall it.
