[FIX] Backup process of domains containing one or several mssql databases fails

SYMPTOMS

When backing up  domains using either Plesk or  Plesk Backup Utility GUI   the following error message is displayed:

Error: Unable to create the backup file: Error domain_bu execution: Backup process has failed for domain domain.com'
Unable to create dump file for MS-SQL database mydatabase domain domain.com

CAUSE

This issue could happen after msde has been upgraded up SQL Express 2005. Some entries in msdb database were not upgrade correctly.

RESOLUTION

The following script needs to run: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Install\instmsdb.sql

SQL Express Studio will open, where push the “Execute” button to apply the sql query script.

Databases can be safely backed up after that.
