New Cron tasks that were added through Plesk CP or manually from the command line are not executed by 'crond' until you restart it.

RESOLUTION


Mare sure that the /etc/crontab file exists. If not, you can create it with the "touch /etc/crontab" command. Then restart 'crond'.
Also, check that the system user which has the problem with cronjob execution is not listed in /etc/cron.deny.
