RESOLUTION
In case the Virtuozzo server (the hardware node) fails due to a blue screen scenario, it will be necessary to investigate memory dump. This file will be located in %systemroot%\memory.dmp.If no memory dump file was created, please make sure that full memory dump creation is enabled.
To do this, you would do the following:
Right click on My computer, Properties, Advanced tab, Startup and Recovery area, Settings button, Write debugging information drop-down menu, Complete memory dump
In case this option is not available, you can set it manually through the Windows registry:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CrashControl\CrashDumpEnabled" to 1 (:DWORD=0x1)
If a memory dump was created , then please do the following:
· Create a .zip archive for it.
· Create a new folder named after your ticket number if you have one, e.g. #211234. If you do not have a ticket yet, please submit it at the first. After ticket submitting, you will receive confirmation with a ticket number in the subject.
- Using this number, please copy your dump and all related info (like Virtuozzo
report) into this new folder.
· Then login to the following ftp site and upload folder with dump:
ftp://downloads.sw-soft.com/
User Name: tmpupload
Password: swupload
Note: You will not be able to see the content of the FTP site, but you can upload files there anyway.
- Please send us all log files using Submit Support Issue option
· Notify support through your ticket with a detailed problem description and path to your memory dump.
