[FIX] I am unable to perform a Physical to Virtual (P2V) migration because SWAgent is already installed.

Symptoms

When I perform a P2V migration, I get the following error message:

VZAgent Error 425. Distribute agent to failed : SWAgent is already installed on the node, but connection to one is failed.

Cause

Based on this message, it appears that a previous attempt of the P2V Migration tool was done. The Configuration Agent was already installed there.

Resolution

First, you will login to the physical server you wish to migrate. From this server, go to Add/Remove Programs and remove SWsoft Configuration Agent from there. Finally, try to repeat the P2V migration.

Note: If this P2V migration repeatedly fails, please submit a Support Issue.
