SYMPTOMS

When you are trying to access the Virtuozzo Power Panel (VZPP) / Control Center (VZCC), you may be prompted with a certificate warning message and later receive a Page Not Found error from your web browser

CAUSE

The VZCC/VZPP website was not properly installed under IIS inside the Service VE (SVE) due to an incorrect version of the IIS installation running the node.  For example, the IIS within the SVE maybe be installed from an alternate Windows 2003 build, but the node has Windows 2003 Service Pack 1 installed.

To confirm that website wasn’t installed properly, please login to SVE.

Once within the SVE, open the IIS snap-in, websites,  Virtuozzo Control Center Web Site and check if there are no any subfolders .  If the node is configured correctly, you will see /psa and /vz/cp subfolders under Virtuozzo Control Center Web Site )

RESOLUTION

Reinstall IIS on the node using Windows 2003 Service Pack 1 distributive. After that  reinstall service VE (please see the following KB 1235 for this. )
