RESOLUTION

1. Log on to the Virtuozzo Host server and save all license information located in C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Virtuozzo\Licenses\ to a temporary location.

Note: This way, no files and no directories are present in the licenses directory.

2. Start the Virtuozzo Management Console (VZMC) and upload the permanent license using the Manage Virtuozzo License wizard.

The license upload can also be done from command line on the Virtuozzo Host:



3. Check that the permanent license is ACTIVE using the VZMC or this CLI utility:



In case you experience any issues with the permanent key, please copy all saved licenses back to C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Virtuozzo\Licenses\ folder and hit Reload License button in the wizard. You can also reload licenses from the CLI using:



Virtuozzo has a 5 minute grace period in the absence of the license.  This is to allow VEs will be still up and running when you switch over licenses.
