- After I upgraded to Parallels Desktop 11 my antivirus (AV) software in Windows virtual machine (Bitdefender, Avira) reports that sha_micro_app.exe file (sometimes prl_uprof.dll) is detected as virus.
Parallels Tools provide very deep intergation of Windows virtual machine with host OS X (clipboard/keyboard layout synchronization, Shared Folders etc.), and some AV software may detect Parallels Tools components as virus.
Please do not worry, there is no real virus infection. We would appreciate if you file a report to AV software manufacturer with the fact of suspecting Parallels Tools Components with malware activity.
