Unable to install Parallels Desktop:
- Nothing happens after clicking on "Install" button.
- Installation just hangs in the background.
- Process is not responding in the Activity Monitor.
Installation hangs on "Checking new software" or other stage.
Please perform the following steps one-by-one:
Right click the Parallels Desktop installer in the dock, then Quit.
Restart the Mac, make sure Reopen windows when logging back in option is unchecked.
Download dmg file again.
Try installing Parallels Desktop once again.
