While using the MYOB AccountRight application, opening a created company file results in the error:
"Cannot open a file stored on network path".
AccountRight default Library is created in Documents folder, which is treated as network drive by virtual machine.
Go to Start menu > Navigate to AccountRight Tools folder and run the Set Library Location application.
In the newly opened window create a new folder, that will be used as a Library folder for AccountRight. Make sure that "Local Disk (C:)" is selected, click on "Make New Folder" and name created folder as you see fit.
Click "OK", and verify that Library folder path is
C:\*your_folder_name*. Click on "Set Location".
Now that new Library Folder is created, transfer the existing company files from the previous one. By default they are located in Documents > MYOB. Locate the needed files in appropriate MYOB sub folder, and move them to the new one, that was created on Drive C.
Start AccountRight, select "Open Company File". Select the needed file, and when on credentials window - leave the user as Administrator, leave password field blank, and click "OK".
