This article will guide you through the process of uninstalling Parallels Desktop 10 from your Mac.
Note: Your virtual machines will not be affected by this procedure - only the Parallels Desktop application will be uninstalled. If you want to remove a virtual machine, please see KB 5029
Shut down your virtual machine and quit Parallels Desktop


Open your Applications folder and drag the Parallels Desktop icon into the Trash.

Empty the Trash
- Reboot your Mac
NOTE: You can also download, extract and execute this utility: PDremove.zip. PDremove.app will remove Parallels Desktop (any version from 7 through 10) with all its cache and system files, except for the licensing information. Your virtual machines won’t be affected if they are stored in the usual location: ~/Users/[username]/
