Parallels Desktop (prl_client_app) crashes on every attempt to launch it.
The error message suggests to send crash report to Apple
- External display is connected to the Mac
- DisplayLink software and drivers are installed on the Mac.
Software conflict between Parallels Desktop and DisplayLink drivers for the external monitor.
In order to resolve the issue please do the following:
disconnected external display
in Terminal (Applications/Utilities/Terminal) type in:
kextunload -b com.displaylink.driver.DisplayLinkDriver
and hit Return/Enter
restart your Mac
start Parallels Desktop
