1. What's Included in This Update
 
The new packages for Parallels Cloud Server 6.0 provide fixes and improvements for managing virtual machines, Containers, and Parallels Cloud Storage.
 
2. Problem Description
 
The new packages contain fixes for the following issues:

- Virtual machines residing in Parallels Cloud Storage do not start due to the lack of disk space on the system partition (#PSBM-18268)
 
- Virtual machines crash on servers with AMD processors (#PSBM-18505, #PSBM-18515, #PSBM-18094)
 
- Virtual machines crash under certain conditions (#PSBM-18592)
 
- Virtual machines fail to resume (#PSBM-18532)
 
- Incoming traffic to virtual machines can be corrupted (#PSBM-17889)
 
- Listing virtual servers residing in Parallels Cloud Storage takes too long (#PSBM-18035, #PSBM-17761)
 
- Migration of virtual machines over Parallels Cloud Storage fails (#PSBM-18675)
 
- Container migration from Parallels Cloud Server to Parallels Virtuozzo Containers 4.0 fails (#PSBM-17182)
 
- ARP entries related to migrated Containers remain on the source server after migration (#PSBM-18674)
 
- Compacting virtual machine's disk image can be ineffective under certain conditions (#PSBM-17818)
 
- Unable to create virtual machines from templates located on shared storage but registered on another node (#PSBM-18471)
 
- Two default gateways in Debian/Ubuntu-based Containers under certain conditions (#PSBM-18000)

- Improved performance of Windows virtual machines over Parallels Cloud Server (#PSBM-18983)
 
- Introduced Parallels Cloud Server performance history (in the stat -F command)
 
- Fixed Parallels Cloud Storage license auto-renewal (#PSBM-18269)
 
- Fixed Parallels Cloud Server authentication with a non-default umask (#PSBM-18819)
 
- Changed the recommended configuration for Parallels Cloud Server to individual hard drives over hardware RAID with or without SSD for the journal/cache
 
- Introduced new Parallels Cloud Server performance counters in top/stat (QDepth, RMW, JFull)
 
- Fixed Parallels Cloud Server replication settings changes blocking writes until replicated if previous min replicas parameter was too low (#PSBM-18489)
 
- Greatly improved Parallels Cloud Server performance in 10GbE clusters (#PSBM-17852, #PSBM-17709, #PSBM-17158)
 
- Now a warning is issued if there are not enough chunk servers with unique host_id (based on the max-host-replicas parameter) (#PSBM-17844)
 
- Improved Parallels Cloud Server DNS TXT discovery during kickstart installations (#PSBM-17573)
  
  All Parallels Cloud Server 6.0 users are advised to update their tools packages.

 You can download and install this tools update using the yum utility included in the Parallels Cloud Server 6.0 distribution.
