SymptomsBoot Camp based virtual machine does not start after migrating Mac to new hard drive.
On start of the virtual machine you can see a black screen or spinning wheel, but Windows OS does not load.
CauseThe associations between Boot Camp partition and Parallels Virtual Machine might have been broken during migration to new Mac Hard Drive.
ResolutionIn order to fix this issue, please recreate the Boot Camp Based Virtual Machine. You don't have to reinstall Parallels Desktop or Parallels Tools.
Just locate the old virtual machine in Finder - put .pvm in Spotlight search bar and move file to Trash.
