Symptoms

Unable to view/access additional Hard Drive on Mac in Windows virtual machine.

Cause

 Virtual Machine sharing options misconfiguration.

Resolution

Step 1

1. Check if the hard drive works fine on Mac.
3. Start Parallels Desktop and Start Windows virtual machine.
4. Click on Virtual Machine menu on the top mac menu bar click on Configure 
 Options ► Sharing and enable "Map Mac volumes to Windows"

5. Close the Configuration window and check if you are able to access the hard disk.

If the issue persists then proceed to next steps:
 
1. Start Parallels Desktop and Windows virtual machine.
2. Click on Virtual Machine menu on the top mac menu bar click on Configure  Options ► Sharing and click on "Custom Folders"
3. Click on "+" , navigate and select the drive which you desire to access in the virtual machine.

4. Close the Configuration window and check if you are able to access the hard disk.
