You tried to register Parallels Desktop or download one of these programs: Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Antivirus for Mac or MacLook and got this error message:
To use this feature, your computer must be connected to the Internet. Please check your network connection and try again.
Unable to connect to the server. Please check your Internet connection or try again later.
Parallels Desktop outgoing connections are blocked from Mac.
Disable proxy in System Preferences - Network - Active connection - Advanced... - Proxy And restart your Mac.
Open Terminal application form Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal and run the command below (paste the command as is and hit Enter):
Examine the output for similar entries:
127.0.0.1 pdfm7.blist.parallels.com 127.0.0.1 pdfm7.vl.parallels.com 127.0.0.1 registration.parallels.com 127.0.0.1 update.parallels.com
If you see such entries it means Parallels Desktop outgoing connections are blocked. Remove these entries to solve the issue. Next point describes a way how to do this.
In case such entries are present in your hosts file, remove them. To do it:
sudo perl -pi -w -e 's/(?:[A-Za-z0-9-]+.?)*parallels\.com/#/g;' /etc/hosts
