- The text in the online store is displayed in English even though a different language is chosen in the store.
- Some word ot sentence is incorrectly translated in the on-line store.
How to correct/add a translation?
Localization of the online store can be performed by updating the dictionary from PBA Provider/Reseller CP.
PBA-E 5.4: Home> Product Director> Online Store Manager> Languages
PBA-E 5.4: Home>Products> Online Store> More> Languages
The dictionary represents a collection of "word"-"value" pairs, where the word is a placeholder and the value defines the way the placeholder is interpreted in the online store.
In case the required locale exists in Lion (or the language is one of officially provided by Parallels, e.g. Language Packs for PBA-E 5.5), the required translations are already present in the locale, you may just import the dictionary file (locale-bmstore.lang) to PBA.
To correct some translation follow the instructions from the documentation.
It may happen that not all text in online store has a special placeholder in dictionaries (for example if you have customized the store by including additional comments in some layout template(s)). In order to have this text translated, follow the instructions below:
Find a modified layout template
PBA 5.4: Home> Product Director> Online Store Manager> Layout Templates
PBA 5.5: Home> Products> Online Store> Layout Templates
Replace the text you added with the construction like
where NEW_KEY_WORD is a unique key word, without spaces.
Add a new word-value pair to all the dictionaries used: in each dictionary click "Add New Translation" button and specify NEW_KEY_WORD in Word field and a proper translation (the text which will be displayed in the store) in Translation.
Synchronize the store to apply changes.
