Localization of the Online Store can be performed by adding the new or updating existing dictionary in PBA Provider/Reseller CP at Product Director > Online Store Manager > Languages. The dictionary represents a collection of word-value pairs, where the word is a placeholder and the value defines the way the placeholder is interpreted in the Online Store.
In case the required locale exists in Lion, you may just import it to PBA. If not, then create a new dictionary, copy English dictionary to it and edit words translation.
It may happen that not all the text in online store has a special placeholder in dictionaries (for example, if you have customized your Online Store and included additional comments). In order to have this text translated in correspondence with the used locale you should follow the instructions below:
1. Add a new word-value pair to all the dictionaries used. To do it, go to Product Director > Online Store Manager > Languages, select a language, switch to Dictionary tab and click the Add new translation button. Specify any name for this translation in Word field and type the text, which will be represented in the Online Store, in Translation field.
2. Find the layout template in which this text is defined (for detailed information on how to find out the name of the used layout template, please, refer to the Online Store: Customizing Page Layout article). Open the layout template and replace the text with the following construction:
where <word> is the name of the placeholder, specified in the point 1.
3. Synchronize the Online Store in order to apply the changes.
