Information

Parallels Access allows you to access a remote Mac or Window PC with the help of a Web Console.

You can access the Web Console in your Parallels account.

The list of supported web browsers is available in KB122781.

To access a remote computer using Parallels Access you need to have Parallels Access Agent installed on the remote computer and log in to your Parallels Account on the computer you are using.

To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Download the latest Parallels Access installation file on the computer you are going to connect to:

    • Log in to your Parallels account at my.parallels.com, go to Dashboard and click on the Download icon in the Parallels Access tile;

    • on the Download page, select your operating system to initiate the download.

  2. Once the download is finished, run the installer and proceed with the installation. After Parallels Access Agent is installed, launch it and sign in to your Parallels Account.

  3. Once the application is configured, the computer will be available on the Remote Access page that can be accessed by clicking Remote Access in the Parallels Access tile on the Dashboard page.

    Note: Machines that were previously configured, but are currently not accessible (turned off, without access to Internet, Parallels Access application no longer running etc.) show up as "Offline".

  4. To connect to the remote computer, simply click on it.

  5. Click on the account you would like to log in to. Enter the account password and click Login to initiate the remote access.
