APPLIES TO:

  • Parallels Virtuozzo Containers for Windows

Symptoms

How do I find which folder in /vz/backups is responsible for specific container CTID ?

Resolution

Backup folders are named with the EID of the container, which can be found in the following file :

For Linux :

    ~# cat /vz/private/CTID/.vza/eid.conf

For Windows :

    C:\> type X:\vz\private\CTID\.vza\eid.conf

With the obtained container EID, you can locate the backup directory as /vz/backups/<eid>.
