Parallels Desktop 8 installation freezes or fails

Cause

Most probably you have a tablet plugged in to your Mac. It prevents Parallels Desktop to install properly.

Resolution

1. Unplug your tablet from the Mac
2. Restart Mac OS X
3. Run Parallels Desktop 8 installation again

Parallels Development Team is working to get this issue fixed and it will be solved in one of future builds of Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac.
