A Product Activation Key is a set of 30 characters divided into five blocks of six characters:
XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX
This key allows you to activate your copy of Parallels Desktop. If you purchased a retail copy of Parallels Desktop 7, you can find your key in the Parallels Desktop 7 box. If you purchased online, you can find it in your order confirmation email.
Your key can be used to register Parallels Desktop. You must register to access your free support.
Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac Activation

Product ID
A Product ID is generated when you activate Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac. It is a 14-digit secure code divided into three sets of characters:
XXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.
The Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac Product ID was designed to prevent the unauthorized use of activation keys. Versions of Parallels Desktop prior to Parallels Desktop 7 don't have a Product ID.
Your Product ID can't be used to activate an installation of Parallels Desktop on a second computer.

A Parallels Desktop Support Code is a 10 digit number divided into two five-character blocks:
XXXXX-XXXXX.
A Support Code is generated when you register Parallels Desktop. You must provide this code when you contact the Parallels Technical Support Department.
