Parallels Desktop for Mac interface localization

You can choose which interface language Parallels Desktop for Mac will use.

The Parallels Desktop for Mac installation image is multilingual and installs the product in all its supported languages.

The language of the Parallels Desktop for Mac interface can be changed by simply changing the language of the Mac OS X.

To set which language the Parallels Desktop interface uses, please:
1. Quit Parallels Desktop.

2. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Language & Text, and then click Language.



3. Drag the language you want to the top of the list. If you don't see the language you want to use in the list, click Edit List.

If the primary language you selected isn't supported by Parallels Desktop, Parallels Desktop interface will appear in the first language in the list that Parallels Desktop supports.



4. Open Parallels Desktop.

However, the activation keys for Parallels Desktop for Mac remain localized.

The language coding of the Parallels Desktop for Mac activation key is not important for the Parallels Desktop user interface.  You can activate any language for the user interface of Parallels Desktop for Mac, regardless of the language coding of the activation key.

The activation key language coding influences the additional products and services included into Parallels Desktop for Mac:
 

• Acronis Online Backup,

• Kaspersky Internet Security,

• Kaspersky Anti-Virus,
   
• Norton Internet Security for Windows

• Convenience Store.
   

These additional products and services are dependent on the language coding of your activation key for Parallels Desktop for Mac.

If your activation key for Parallels Desktop for Mac has the English coding, for example, you will be able to install and use only the English versions of Acronis and Kaspersky products and Convenience Store.
