Symptoms
I have Parallels Server 4.0 for Mac installed on my server. After upgrading the host operating system to Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, I am unable to start any of my virtual machines. Parallels Management Console shows this error:
Before the upgrade, all virtual machines were working fine.
Cause
The build of Parallels Server 4.0 for Mac currently installed on the server does not support Mac OS X 10.7 Lion as the host operating system.Resolution

IMPORTANT NOTE: For both Desktop for Mac and Server for Mac, our current support for Lion is limited to being able to run our products on a Lion host operating system. Future versions will include support for Lion-specific features.
