I use Parallels Workstation 2.x and want to upgrade to Parallels Workstation 6. What should I do?

RESOLUTION

Perform the following steps to upgrade to Parallels Workstation 6.

1. Purchase and download the latest version of Parallels Workstation 6 from the Parallels website
2. Launch the Installer
3. Choose 'Yes' to continue on to the Previous version detected screen
4. Choose 'Yes' when the installation wizard asks if you want to convert your virtual machines:
